HOPE network

In this community, is an assembly of instruments. They are instruments of hope and peace. They are a group of moms who came together with a mission. Their mission was to create opportunities for special children. Fittingly, they call themselves HOPE.network. To others they are more than that. True to their logo, they are an anchor that utilizes their spirituality to ground those of us in need of help. They guide, lead, and help others to follow in a vision of complete love and acceptance of each child. They are remarkably gracious and kind. They are inspirational.

Families for Effective Autism Treatment CNY is honored to name our award for exceptional service The HOPE Award in honor of the founders of HOPE.network. This award recognizes people in the community that have gone above and beyond through their professional work or through volunteering. The HOPE team of parents embodies the true meaning of service for our children. One by one, they reach into our families hearts and decide to make a difference. They are not interested in receiving credit, nor are they interested in advertising their accomplishments. Their only interest is in spreading HOPE and love for our children. We can think of no group that embodies the spirit of this award like the families of HOPE.

The HOPE network provides families with friendship groups, playgroups, music therapy through Hope’s Angels, luncheons, picnics, respite, and retreat opportunities. They partner with various agencies to provide these opportunities at no cost to their families. They have guest speakers and training workshops. They provide one to one counseling for families. They have a special interest in individuals living in group homes. They make an extraordinary effort to reach into the lives of these special people. They offer a quarterly newsletter and maintain a lending library. They strive hard to find creative ways to disseminate valuable information.

The voices of HOPE began as a few moms paving the way for faith based support and ministry. It has turned into a community anchor that brings us all back to understanding the great love our extraordinary children offer. They inspire HOPE. They build dreams and they are instruments through which miracles can happen.
